Japan

Japanese war propaganda textile.

America and the Uk made war propaganda textiles in the form of handkerchieves and head scarves for both men and woman
and very much to be seen .

The Japanese made theirs solely for boys and men. They were mostly in forms of linings of men’s kimonos
or small boys house kimonos . On the whole never seen publicly.

This printed cotton has symbols of power and skill.
Words printed Kuibu, Yushoki and Nippon Keira Kyokwai.
The Japanese associated military power with modernism.
